Mandate
Osage Finance is the treasury function of Osage Group. We manage operating cash, the standing facilities that smooth the working capital of the portfolio, and the structured instruments that match assets to liabilities at the horizon the house operates on.
What we run
- Operating treasury. Cash management, FX, and short-duration positioning for Osage Group and its operating companies.
- Intercompany credit. Working capital facilities between Group entities on standing terms; priced to the cost of capital, not to the moment.
- Structured finance. Asset-backed paper for real-asset positions held via Osage Gold and Osage Farm; coordinated with Osage Capital on private-market deal structures.
- Counterparty banking. Standing relationships with regulated banks and custodians; on-chain settlement via Osage Network where it improves the operating cost.
- Risk & controls. Treasury policy, signing rights, and reconciliation discipline held under the Audit & Risk Committee.
Operating posture
- Match the horizon. Treasury is run to the same patient horizon as the operating businesses. We do not chase yield on operating cash.
- Concentration with discipline. A small number of standing counterparties, deeply known, on terms that survive the worst environment the underwriting plausibly forecasts.
- Transparent in-house. Every Group entity sees the same picture. No hidden float, no off-ledger arrangements.
- Secrets in KMS. Signing keys live in Hanzo KMS only. No plaintext anywhere in the ecosystem.
What we will not do
High-leverage carry on operating cash. Off-balance-sheet structures whose purpose is to obscure the underlying. Counterparties whose practice we will not put a name to. Anything our compliance committee or general counsel will not stand behind in writing.
